Stefanchuk on changes in the government
Stefanchuk emphasized that the main task of the new government is to end the full-scale war in Ukraine as soon as possible.
In response to a question about the expected changes from the government, considering the difficulties faced by Ukrainians, Stefanchuk noted:
'Therefore, certain transformations have taken place. First of all, we have seen a reduction in the number of ministries by 30%.'
He added that in wartime, the government must continue to demonstrate to citizens that the war goes on and rationalize management costs.
Expressing the belief that the main priority of Ukrainians is the joint victory of Ukraine, Stefanchuk also mentioned the difficulties in the economy caused by the war. However, he believes that the priority should be to end the war and establish peace before developing society.
'Our task is to do everything to end the war faster and then ensure sustainable and lasting peace'
It should be reminded that on July 17, the Ukrainian parliament supported the new government and appointed Denys Shmyhal as Minister of Defense.
The Ukrainian authorities emphasize the urgent need to end the war and restore the economy, ensuring social protection for citizens. The importance of a swift end to the conflict and achieving sustainable peace in Ukraine is highlighted as one of the priorities of the new government.
