SMA activist Nazariy Husakov comments for the first time on fraud allegations.

SMA activist Nazariy Husakov has come under accusation of fraud due to unofficial procurement of medications. He rejects the accusations, explaining that sometimes he had to buy medications on his own to save money and spend it on other needs. There is evidence that people have helped him by providing medications or financial support.
“I always looked for where I could. The medications were not purchased officially. Occasionally, I found fresh jars, someone supported me, had a supply, and I bought them. Sometimes the expiration dates expired, and to avoid wasting, people constantly needed the same rehabilitation as I did, because one Eurisdi had little effect,” Husakov explained.
According to Husakov, in 2024 he received only 28 vials of the medication from the city council, which was insufficient. He noted that he bought medications on his own because the city council did not provide the necessary amount for the entire year.
In cases where the medication ran out, he occasionally opened new jars, which increased his expenses. Husakov also decided to undergo genetic testing to support his arguments and avoid further allegations.
Summary of the news:
Nazariy Husakov stated that he occasionally bought medications unofficially for himself and others due to issues receiving the necessary drugs from local authorities.
