Pork prices: how the cost of meat has changed over the month.

Interesting changes in prices have been occurring recently on the Ukrainian meat market, particularly concerning pork.
The portal "Khvilya" analyzed the current average meat prices and compared them with the data from September 2024 to determine the dynamic of price changes for this popular product.
The average price for pork brisket increased by 4.9%, from 167.72 UAH per kilogram in September to 175.95 UAH per kilogram now. The cost of pork shoulder practically did not change, decreasing slightly from 172.27 UAH per kilogram in September to 171.20 UAH per kilogram. Meanwhile, pork neck became cheaper by 4.4%, with its average price being 266.40 UAH per kilogram compared to 278.75 UAH per kilogram in September.
It was exactly the pork belly that saw the highest price increase. The cost rose by 5.4%, from 167.51 UAH per kilogram to 176.50 UAH per kilogram. Pork ribs also slightly increased in price, by 1.3%, from 172.35 UAH per kilogram to 174.63 UAH per kilogram. This indicates a stable interest of buyers in this product. Also, prices for pork for BBQ have increased by 6.3%, from 239.58 UAH per kilogram to 254.70 UAH per kilogram.
Previously, prices for pork on the market and in supermarkets were also compared.
