Member of Parliament Oleksandr Kunitsky, representative of the 'Servant of the People' party, disappeared from Ukraine, likely having fled the country. This is reported by Bihus.Info with reference to its own sources.
According to the report, Kunitsky was on a foreign assignment and did not return on Time. His absence from parliamentary sessions has been recorded since October. It is worth noting that Oleksandr Kunitsky is a friend of MPs Artem Dmytruk and Mykola Tyshchenko, and he is known for his scandalous situations with the patrol police, as well as an incident of assault in central Kyiv which was filmed along with fellow Members of Parliament.
According to the confirmation by 'Glavcom', Kunitsky is in the United States of America, where he owns real estate. Permission to leave was granted by the parliament leadership.
Let us recall that the General Prosecutor’s Office of Ukraine initiated criminal proceedings against Oleksandr Kunitsky following the publication of information about his foreign travels. The Member of Parliament visited Israel and was in Florida for over 2 weeks during a five-day assignment in the summer of 2023, as shown in the investigation by the 'Schemes' project.
Oleksandr Kunitsky has previously been involved in awkward situations, including a scandal with MP Artem Dmytruk and an assault on Mykola Tyshchenko in the premises of the Verkhovna Rada.
