A bill on the large-scale reform of the MSEC was submitted to the Rada: what will change for Ukrainians.

The Government of Ukraine has taken an important step in reforming the disability determination system.
On November 4, the Verkhovna Rada received the bill No. 12178 on the reform of medical-social expert commissions (MSEC).
According to the explanatory note, the document provides for significant changes in the system's operation.
The reform aims to simplify the procedure for determining disability, introduce formalized assessment criteria, and digitize the expertise process. There are also plans to create a transparent system for appealing decisions and change the funding mechanisms for medical-social expertise.
It is worth noting the quick review of the document: within one day, on November 4, the bill was reviewed by the relevant committee on national health, medical aid, and medical insurance and was submitted for consideration to the Verkhovna Rada.
Previously, a deputy described attempts in Ukraine to postpone the MSEC reform.
