116 million euros will be allocated for Ukrainian schoolchildren in Poland
Poland will provide 116 million euros to support Ukrainian schoolchildren. This was reported by inpoland.
The European Commission has decided to provide financial assistance and support to more than 30,000 Ukrainian children studying in schools in Poland. The main goal of this initiative is to ensure quality education and help in the development and adaptation of Ukrainian students to new conditions. This will help them gain better opportunities in the European labor market.
“Supporting Ukrainian children during this difficult period will help them realize their potential and become an important part of European society,” said the European Commission.
Funding will be used for the following purposes:
- employing multicultural assistants - specialists who will help children better adapt to Polish schools;
- training teachers taking into account the needs of teaching children with various cultural and linguistic characteristics;
- developing a psychological support system to help children cope with stress and difficulties related to the war and relocation.
It was previously reported that Poland would introduce new rules for employers.
