The GUR named the occupied territory that Russia fears losing the most.

Andriy Cherniak, a representative of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, claims that Russian troops are strengthening their positions in the annexed Crimea due to the fear of losing this territory. If there is a threat of loss, the Russian army will increase the number of military units. Russia's main goal in Crimea is to ensure the security and protection of the peninsula.
"They are very afraid of losing Crimea. In addition to trying everything possible, they aim to retain the Kherson territory. Their main goal is to keep Crimea. To make Crimea safe for them. To ensure that no one can seize this territory. Therefore, they will saturate it with troops as much as possible, and they will saturate it with military equipment as much as possible"said Cherniak.
Earlier, Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov agreed with the words of U.S. President Donald Trump that "the status of occupied Crimea is not open to discussion".
It was also reported that the U.S. administration is ready to temporarily recognize the occupied Crimea as part of the territories of the Russian Federation as part of a peace agreement.
U.S. President Donald Trump stated that returning the territories lost to Ukraine over 11 years of war with Russia, including Crimea, will be very difficult.
