The Ukrainian Ministry of Defense announced the introduction of the V-1 unmanned aerial vehicle into service with the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This information was reported by the Main Department of Logistics Support for the Life Cycle of Weapons and Military Equipment.

These V-1 drones are designed to target groups of enemies, vehicles, and armored vehicles, as well as military facilities on the front line and in the enemy's rear.

The Ministry of Defense reports: 'The aircraft of the system can carry various types of ammunition. They have a quiet powerful engine. This bomber can stay in the air for several hours. The V-1 aircraft also have increased resistance to enemy electronic warfare systems.'

One of the features of the system is its rapid deployment and retraction, which reduces the risk for the crew when performing tasks.

Recently in Ukraine, a new drone rocket 'Bars' was introduced. Minister of Strategic Industries Herman Smetanin reported this during the 'Ukrainian Weapon-2024' briefing.

As for the technical specifications of the drone rocket 'Bars', they remain classified. There are also no available images of this new weapon.
