Moratorium on Business Inspections — Who Will Not Have It Lifted.

Moratorium on Business Inspections in Ukraine
Ukraine is preparing to introduce a moratorium on business inspections, but law enforcement agencies will still have the opportunity to check unscrupulous entrepreneurs. This became known as a result of the meeting between Ukraine's Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko and journalists.
'We will make this decision, a moratorium for inspections by law enforcement agencies,' - she stated.
According to Svyrydenko, the government plans to establish a moratorium on business inspections. The problematic nature of inspections for entrepreneurs has always been timely, so the government is currently consulting with the Office of the Attorney General to discuss a better approach to conducting such inspections.
'It is very important for us that a case related to business activities opens only with the sanctions of the prosecutor, possibly regional and district prosecutors,' - she emphasized.
Svyrydenko noted that opening a case by law enforcement could lead to the cessation of business activities, so the head of government calls on the Attorney General to consider alternative options for solving problems. However, control over unscrupulous businessmen will remain in place.
