The head of the People's Republic of China, Xi Jinping, despite President Volodymyr Zelensky's statement, continues his planned visit to Moscow next week. This was reported by the office of the spokesperson of the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs in response to a request from the correspondent of Ukrinform in China.

The Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed its position regarding the 'Ukrainian crisis', which is to facilitate peace negotiations, a ceasefire, and the end of the war. The statement also mentioned the active role of the majority of countries in the international community in political settlement.

Xi Jinping's planned visit to Moscow

The announcement from the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that Xi Jinping intends to visit Russia from May 7 to 10 and participate in meetings in Moscow on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War.
