The MP arrested for high treason has been charged with a new suspicion.


The Security Service of Ukraine, together with the Office of the Attorney General and the State Bureau of Investigation, has established the fact of a crime committed by a Member of Parliament, who has been in custody since November 2024 on suspicion of high treason. The MP also established a scheme for receiving 'kickbacks' in exchange for monetary rewards.
An investigation is currently underway concerning a new suspicion under Part 4 of Article 190 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine — fraud committed on a large scale. The name of the MP has not been disclosed. However, the State Bureau of Investigation is conducting searches at the Minister of Community Development, Territories, and Infrastructure of Ukraine, Oleksandr Kubrakov, as part of the case.
