Undisputed boxing champion Oleksandr Usyk visited soldier Rostyslav Prystupa, who received an apartment from the charity organization 'Heart of Azovstal'. The project has already provided apartments to more than 130 disabled defenders, and by the end of the year plans to hand over 200 apartments to heroes.
Rostyslav Prystupa participated in the defense of Mariupol and received an apartment in the Kyiv region as part of the 'Heart of Azovstal. Home' program. His meeting with Oleksandr Usyk was a pleasant surprise.
'After the injury when I couldn't even walk, sports helped me recover. I am very grateful to the 'Heart of Azovstal' project and Rinat Akhmetov for the apartment we received. I didn't even dream of it. It motivates me to move forward and develop,' said Rostyslav.
More than 100 disabled Mariupol defenders have already received apartments under the 'Heart of Azovstal. Home' program. Overall, the project provides for the transfer of 200 apartments.
'Our defenders need this kind of support. It's a great initiative. For us, every story of these 200 defenders is a new challenge. These are people who have endured severe injuries, but it's also an opportunity to showcase their success story and inspire others,' said Natalya Yemchenko, Chair of the Supervisory Board of 'Heart of Azovstal.'
The 'Heart of Azovstal. Home' program continues to accept applications from Mariupol defenders. This year, 70 people will receive apartments. Applications can be submitted until the end of October through the hotline number 0 (800) 600 114.
