The First Captured Chinese. What Became Known After the Interrogation.

Ukrainian military managed to capture two citizens of China who joined the Russian army. After the interrogation, the first information about these foreigners became known.

The first captive is Wang Guangjun, born in 1991. The second captive is Zhang Renbo, born in 1998.

These two Chinese citizens were captured by the soldiers of the 81st Separate Airborne Assault Brigade and the 157th Separate Mechanized Brigade in Donetsk region.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky noted that the number of Chinese citizens fighting on the side of the occupiers exceeds two. Reconnaissance work is underway to clarify all the facts. The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine has also been instructed to contact Beijing and ask how China plans to respond to this situation.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine summoned the temporary chargé d'affaires of China to demand explanations regarding the participation of Chinese troops in the war on the side of the Russian Federation. The agency condemns Moscow's involvement of Chinese citizens in the conflict against Ukraine.
