The Pension Fund made a statement regarding payments for February: what about pensions and sick leave.

The Pension Fund of Ukraine has announced that funding for pension payments for February 2025 has been completed. The total amount of funds spent on pensions was 62.2 billion hryvnias.
According to the PFC, as of February 24, 60 billion hryvnias were financed for pension payments, including 8.8 billion hryvnias through Ukrposhta and 51.2 billion hryvnias through banking institutions.
In addition to pensions, the Fund allocated funds for housing subsidies, benefits, and insurance payments. A portion of these funds (1,449.2 million hryvnias) was used to pay for sick leave.
In February, the Pension Fund of Ukraine provided 925 thousand services to citizens.
Pension Indexation in 2025
Pension indexation in 2025 is scheduled for March 1. Pension payments will be recalculated for citizens receiving an insurance pension due to age. This affects about 95% of pensioners in Ukraine.
The indexation coefficient for pensions will be 1.115, as the average salary in Ukraine for 2024 was 17,486.6 hryvnias. This will lead to an increase in pension payments by 11.5%. Pensioners with a calculated pension of over 10,000 hryvnias will receive supplements from 1,000 hryvnias and above.
Citizens also have the opportunity to increase their future pension by making voluntary insurance contributions to the Pension Fund of Ukraine.
