Not everyone can afford: how much strawberries, cherries, apricots, and raspberries cost in stores and markets.


With the arrival of summer, citizens of Ukraine actively begin to enrich their diet with fresh vitamins, represented by juicy berries and aromatic fruits. Strawberries, cherries, apricots, and raspberries become popular heroes of the summer table, providing the body with beneficial substances. However, in conditions of economic instability, there is a growing demand for finding advantageous places to shop - supermarkets or traditional markets.
In supermarkets, a kilogram of strawberries will cost from 199.40 to 270 UAH, cherries - from 157.40 to 549 UAH, apricots - from 68.20 to 150.70 UAH, and raspberries - from 240 to 419 UAH.
In local markets in Kyiv, prices remain stable. Ukrainian apricots will cost from 90 to 110 UAH, while imported ones - from 100 to 140 UAH. As for cherries, the imported ones may cost 350-400 UAH, while the Ukrainian ones are priced from 100 to 220 UAH per kilogram. Raspberries also remain in the high price segment, with prices potentially reaching 500 to 700 UAH per kilogram. In Odesa, the prices for strawberries range from 170 to 220 UAH per kilogram, while white cherries are sold for 250 UAH per kilogram, and black ones - from 200 to 230 UAH.
Red raspberries cost from 200 to 450 UAH per kilogram, and apricots - from 160 to 220 UAH per kilogram.
It should be noted that supermarkets have also revised their prices for vegetables for borscht.
Rising prices for summer berries may become important information for citizens seeking the most advantageous conditions for purchasing fresh fruits and berries. The price difference between supermarkets and markets may influence the choice of how to replenish one's diet with beneficial vitamins.
