The President of 'YUKSA' announced the arrival of a football legend to Kyiv.

Romário is coming to Kyiv
The president of the football club 'YUKSA', Serhii Lesnik, announced the arrival of Romário - the legend of Brazilian and world football - to Kyiv. Lesnik reported this referencing 'Ukrainian Football'.
Lesnik confirmed the agreement with Romário regarding his arrival in Kyiv. Romário's son, Romarinyo, is already in the capital of Ukraine with his girlfriend.
“I assure you, Romário will come to Kyiv. Right now, we are just deciding when exactly this will happen. We have not yet determined a specific date. Maybe Romário will visit Ukraine in April, May, or June. He is a busy person who is more interested in political issues than football. Perhaps he will come with his partners from the legendary Brazilian national team of 1994, when they became world champions,” said Lesnik.
The 'YUKSA' team is one of the youngest professional clubs in Ukraine, founded in 2015. It plays in the First League.
Romário - a legend of Brazilian football
Romário is considered one of the best football players in the history of Brazilian football. He became the world champion in 1994 and was recognized as the best player of that year. Romário played for the Brazil national team from 1987 to 2005, scoring 55 goals in 70 matches. He is the fourth highest scorer in the history of the Brazilian national team.
62-year-old Dorival Júnior, the head coach of the Brazil national team, was relieved of his duties. This happened after a crushing defeat in the qualifying match for the 2026 World Cup against Argentina. In addition, there was a negative impression left by the fact that the head coach was involving his son in the work. After 14 rounds of the qualifying tournament, Brazil is in fourth place.
