Russia has intensified the operation "Doppelganger" amid the elections in Poland - intelligence.

Russian propaganda campaign before the elections in Poland
On the eve of the presidential elections in Poland, Russian intelligence services have launched a new phase of information warfare against the countries of the European Union and NATO. The Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense reported on the operation Doppelganger.
The Kremlin is using this operation to create websites and social media pages that resemble Western media and spread disinformation, appearing as if they are genuine news. Russian intelligence services have attempted to influence voters during the Polish elections and shape a negative image of Ukraine.
Today, presidential elections are taking place in Poland, where 17 candidates are competing for the position, including the current president Andrzej Duda. According to polls, the greatest chances of winning are held by the left-liberal, Mayor of Warsaw Rafal Trzaskowski and the national-conservative Karol Nawrocki.
