Drone Attack in Kharkiv

There were 20 attacks by 'shaheds' in Kharkiv last night. Eight locations in four districts of the city were hit. This was reported by mayor Ihor Terekhov, referring to 'Glavkom'.

'For two hours Kharkiv endured mass attacks from enemy combat drones. Four districts were affected: Shevchenkivskyi, Kyivskyi, Holodnohirskiy, and Industrial,' the report noted.

Currently, two injuries have been reported. It should be noted that on the night of May 6, the occupiers also attacked Odesa region using drones.

As a result of the Russian strike on the Odesa region, a number of civil infrastructure facilities were damaged, including private houses. Some fires have broken out, which are currently being extinguished by rescuers.

In one of the houses, a deceased person's body was found. Information about the injured is being clarified.

The events of the drone attack in Kharkiv are another case of escalating the situation in eastern Ukraine, where civilian objects are becoming targets of attacks. Attacks on the civilian population using illegal weapons require a response and support from the international community.
