Ukraine will be able to resist Russian occupiers even without US assistance. This was stated by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrsky during an interview with LB.ua. He noted that Ukraine receives the greatest support from European partners, and assistance from the US has decreased. Nevertheless, Ukraine is successfully developing its own defense industry, particularly in the fields of artillery, drones, and electronic warfare systems. This experience has intrigued European partners. According to Syrsky, Ukraine should rely on its own strengths.

It should be noted that the US restored military aid to Ukraine in March. However, a possible meeting between President Trump and Putin could have negative consequences not only for Ukraine but also for Europe. There is a possibility of NATO troops being withdrawn by the US, which would leave Europe vulnerable to Russian forces. Despite this, the Pentagon stated that no decision has been made regarding the withdrawal of troops from Europe.

It is worth mentioning that the US army also announced the withdrawal of its troops and equipment from the Polish hub in Yasenka, through which assistance was provided to Ukraine.
