The General Staff reported on the verification of the formation of 'problematic' brigades.

Readiness check of the 156th Mechanized Brigade
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has begun a comprehensive verification of the formation of the 156th Mechanized Brigade.
A group of experts led by Colonel Oleg Apostol is assessing the brigade's preparedness and providing assistance in preparation for combat operations.
According to the General Staff, the brigade has completed personnel staffing and has begun general military training. Selection of servicemen for specialized training and replenishment of weapons and equipment is also underway.
However, during the verification, some shortcomings were identified, prompting the commander of the Ground Forces to replace part of the brigade's leadership and strengthen its capabilities by appointing a commander with combat experience and transferring experienced officers and sergeants.
Particular attention is being paid to improving the quality of practical exercises, taking into account experience from the eastern front, as well as enhancing the skills of UAV operators and electronic warfare.
The General Staff is taking into account the mistakes made during the formation of the previous brigade and aims to prevent their recurrence. The command of the Armed Forces is providing support and ensuring the increase of combat readiness and motivation of the personnel.
