The President of Ukraine's authorized representative for sanation policy, Vladyslav Vasyuk, reported that the Russian Federation attempted to spend $7 billion on microelectronics for its armed forces, but it was impossible due to sanctions.
'According to our partners' calculations, Russia wanted to spend approximately $7 billion on microelectronics and could not... Why? Because the market reacted (to the sanctions – ed.), and any components from the priority list, which is a list of 50 positions, are difficult for Russia to purchase,' Vasyuk said.
Vasyuk also noted that there is information that Chinese banks have begun to refuse payments related to the Russian military-industrial complex or significantly complicate their execution due to the fear of falling under secondary sanctions, primarily American ones.
