Ukraine prepares to strike the Rostov region
Ukrainian military may launch the next strike on the Rostov region, where many military facilities are located. This was reported by The Wall Street Journal.
The Rostov region is one of the key targets for the Ukrainian army at this Time. There are four airports here that could become targets for Western missiles, although not all of them are military.
“Rostov is a landing area for many troops transported by large military planes, equipped, loaded onto buses, and transported to the occupied east of Ukraine. A strike on this region could be devastating and destroy a key base for the deployment of Russian troops,” the publication notes.
According to the publication, it is currently unknown if there are any restrictions on the types of targets or regions that Ukraine can choose for attacks.
Ukraine struck a military facility on Russian territory
On November 19, the Armed Forces of Ukraine attacked a military facility on Russian territory for the first time using American Atacms missiles. This was reported by Reuters and CNN sources.
According to CNN data, Ukraine struck a Russian weapons arsenal just the day after the start of the full-scale Russian invasion. This information was confirmed by two American officials.
Also, US Assistant Secretary of State Brian Nichols stated that President Joe Biden granted Ukraine permission to attack targets on Russian territory with American weapons.
According to Reuters, out of eight Atacms missiles launched by Ukraine at Russian territory, the Russian Federation was only able to intercept two.
