Ukrainian pharmaceutical manufacturers will reduce prices on over 100 medications.

Ukrainian pharmaceutical manufacturers have proposed to the Ministry of Health of Ukraine to reduce prices on their medicines. The proposals cover various categories of drugs, including painkillers, sorbents, antacids, human immunoglobulins, antibiotics, anesthetics, antiepileptic drugs, cough suppressants, antipyretics, medications for regulating blood pressure, vitamins, and trace elements. Many of them are included in the National List of medicines, while some can only be purchased with a doctor's prescription.
According to representatives of the Ministry of Health, manufacturers plan to start reducing prices in March. This became known after a meeting between Minister Viktor Lyashko and representatives of pharmaceutical companies. The meeting discussed the issue of further price reductions on medicines that are not included in the list of the top 100 most popular drugs. Manufacturers plan to send the Ministry of Health a list of medications whose prices will be reduced for consumers.
