Ukrzaliznytsia doubles internet limits on fast trains.

The company 'Ukrzaliznytsia' is expanding free internet traffic on Intercity and Intercity+ trains. With this, passengers will be able to use two gigabytes of traffic at a speed of 10 Mb/s. This applies to more than 16 trains, including those produced by Hyundai, Skoda, 'Tarpan', as well as Ukrainian trains with fast routes.
Since the launch of the Wi-Fi network, 750,000 passengers have used it, which accounts for half of the total number of passengers on fast trains. In total, over 2.3 petabytes of traffic have been used. The most active internet users were passengers on routes No. 741/742 and No. 777/778 (Kyiv - Lviv), with 66% connecting to the network.
In September, 'Ukrzaliznytsia' introduced Wi-Fi on Intercity and Intercity+ trains. The service can be used on 10 Hyundai trains, two Skoda trains, two 'Tarpan' trains, and two MPLT trains (Interregional locomotive-hauled trains).
How to connect to Wi-Fi on the train
- Turn on Wi-Fi on your device and select the network named WiFi test.
- After connecting to the network, you will gain access to the portal portal.uz.com.ua, where you can find important travel information, the menu, and the option to leave feedback.
- Receive 2 GB of free traffic at a speed of 10 Mb/s.
During the trial period, Wi-Fi will remain free for passengers.
And already in October, since the launch of the Wi-Fi in test mode, 500,000 passengers of 'Ukrzaliznytsia' have used it.
