On the evening of April 20, an explosion occurred in one of the apartments in the city of Kharkiv, leading to a fire. This was reported by the news portal 'Glavkom', citing local social media. Information about the fire has been confirmed by the State Emergency Service. It was noted that a fire occurred in a high-rise building, resulting in damage to two apartments and the entrance hall.
Rescuers evacuated 15 residents, including five children. A total of 25 rescuers and 6 units of equipment were involved to extinguish the fire. The cause of the fire is currently being established.In a comment to 'Suspiline', the director of the city department of emergency situations, Bohdan Hladkykh, reported that 13 people sought medical assistance after the suspected explosion on Biblyk Street in Kharkiv. Among these, 10 people sought help for minor burns, carbon monoxide poisoning, and acute stress reactions. Three other individuals with carbon monoxide poisoning were hospitalized, but their condition is assessed as not severe. In total, 15 people were rescued from the upper floors, where smoke was spreading, including five children. The news is being updated...
