In Ukraine, electric cars are being bought out: the most popular American cars named.


According to an analysis by the Ukrautoprom portal, demand for used cars from the USA among Ukrainian buyers decreased in January 2024. During this period, almost 2.6 thousand such cars were registered. Experts note that this is almost 3% less compared to the same period last year.
This analysis also revealed that the largest share among registered American used cars is gasoline models, which account for 42%. In second place are electric cars with 41% demand, while hybrid and diesel cars occupy the third and fourth places with an equal share of 6%. Interestingly, cars with gas equipment only covered 5% of the used American car market.
Ukrainian buyers most often choose Tesla electric vehicles among American used cars. The most popular models were the Tesla Model Y crossover with 331 units and the five-seater Tesla Model 3 sedan with 307 units. The top five most popular cars also included the Ford Escape (171 units), Jeep Cherokee (163 units), and Nissan Rogue (132 units).
The increase in demand for new cars in Ukraine is also noteworthy. There is a significant interest in a large number of car brands.
