Ukrenergo Dispelled the Myth About Electricity Export Abroad.

Chairman of the Board of NEC "Ukrenergo" Volodymyr Kudrytskyi debunked widespread myths about Ukrainian energy in conditions of deficit and martial law.
The press service of Ukrenergo reports that in an interview with Deutsche Welle, one of the key questions was the assumption regarding electricity exports abroad in conditions of internal deficit.
Kudrytskyi explained that cross-border physical flows, often perceived as proof of export, are actually a natural process of the united Ukrainian-European energy system. According to him, the sum of these flows per hour equals zero, which means the absence of real resource outflow from Ukraine.
The head of "Ukrenergo" also noted that neighboring countries often use the powerful Ukrainian energy network for electricity transit. For example, Romania often transports electricity from the south to the north via the Ukrainian system. Kudrytskyi advised everyone to verify information sources, especially when it comes to electricity exports.
Let us recall, earlier the Ministry of Energy warned about increasing information attacks by the Russian Federation in the energy sector.
