Legendary hockey goalie Dominik Hasek expressed his concern regarding the recent shelling of Ukraine by Russia. He shared his thoughts on the difficult situation unfolding in Eastern Europe.

"A day after American President Donald Trump boasted to the whole world about how much he is respected by the biggest criminal of the modern world, Putin, terrorist Russia carried out the largest missile and drone attack on civilian targets since the beginning of the war. Today, at best, the whole world laughs at Trump for his lies. Unfortunately, the trust and credit of the U.S. is lost. And the biggest criminals and dictators of the world will certainly take advantage of this. How sad...", wrote Hasek on social media.

His successes on the ice inspire admiration among fans of this sport.During the recent shelling by Russia, military pilot Lieutenant Colonel Maksym Ustyimenko was killed. President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky expressed his condolences to the family of the deceased and highly appreciated the heroic actions of the Ukrainian aviation in wartime.

"Today he destroyed seven aerial targets. My condolences to the family and comrades. I have instructed to clarify all the circumstances of the death. The Ukrainian aviation heroically defends the sky. Thank you to everyone who protects Ukraine," wrote Zelensky.
