Power Outages on July 29 Will Start Later.

In Kyiv and five regions of Ukraine, the schedules for power outages will change. Now the outages will start at 18:00 instead of 16:00 as previously announced. They will last until 23:00. Information on outage schedules can be found on the websites of regional energy companies and DTEK.
Energy Minister Herman Halushchenko noted that the situation in the power system will gradually improve. However, it is worth remembering the possibility of new shelling. DTEK plans to restore 60-70% of its generating capacities that were destroyed by Russian attacks at the beginning of the year.
Volodymyr Kudrytskyi, a representative of "Ukrenergo," said that in August-October, a reduction in power outages is expected. This will be possible provided there are no new shellings. The electricity deficit in Ukraine's energy system is gradually decreasing during this period.
Recall that from 2026, a change in electricity distribution tariffs is planned. Instead of two voltage classes, three will be introduced.
