Military expert evaluated how long Russia can continue to fight.

Military expert and former deputy chief of staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Ihor Romanenko stated that the Russian army can continue to fight for two more years due to a large amount of outdated Soviet equipment that is being repaired and combined with other machines for use on the front. He also noted that Russia has increased supplies to its armed forces and received assistance from North Korea and some European countries, however, Europe is slowly restoring the work of defense industry enterprises. He urged to consider potential capabilities and real assistance with a pragmatic approach.
'Russia has a significant amount of outdated Soviet-era equipment. It is being modernized and combined, creating combat readiness. Despite this, such equipment can shoot, move, and is being used on the front line,' said Romanenko.
'As for personnel, technical analysis shows that for another 4-5 years they will be able to provide their armed forces with personnel,' he said.
'For example, regarding ammunition: only North Korea provides 60% of the ammunition for the Russian Federation and has supplied over 2.5 million recently. And all of Europe has helped us with only one million ammunition in the year and a half,' Romanenko said.
Calculations show that in 2014 and in 2022, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation had a combat potential that exceeded the total potential of all European countries without involving Americans. Romanenko urged to carefully consider potential capabilities and real assistance being provided.
