The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has updated the losses of Russian occupiers as of the morning of Monday, August 12, 2024.
Russia's losses in the war as of August 12, 2024
The Russian Federation in the war with Ukraine as of August 12 lost:
- personnel ‒ about 592000 (+1080) people,
- tanks ‒ 8450 (+3) units,
- armored combat vehicles ‒ 16368 (+5) units,
- artillery systems – 16728 (+65) units,
- MLRS – 1146 (+3) units,
- air defense systems ‒ 919 (+1) units,
- aircraft – 366 (+0) units,
- helicopters – 328 (+0) units,
- UAVs of operational-tactical level – 13472 (+73),
- cruise missiles ‒ 2426 (+1),
- ships / boats ‒ 28 (+0) units,
- submarines – 1 (+0) unit,
- vehicles and fuel tanks – 22590 (+66) units,
- special equipment ‒ 2801 (+1).
Occupants' fleet activity as of August 12:
- in the Black Sea one enemy ship, which is a carrier of Kalibr cruise missiles with a total salvo of up to four missiles;
- no enemy ships in the Sea of Azov;
- in the Mediterranean Sea two enemy ships, one of which is a carrier of Kalibr cruise missiles with a total salvo of up to four missiles.
In the past day, in the interests of the Russian Federation, passage through the Kerch Strait was made by:
- to the Black Sea – 10 ships, 6 of which continued their movement towards the Bosphorus Strait;
- to the Sea of Azov – 11 ships, four of which were moving from the Bosphorus Strait.
Currently, the 991st day of the full-scale war in Ukraine is ongoing.
