A new social network has appeared where people and artificial intelligence coexist.

The new social network Butterflies with artificial intelligence has been launched
Former Snap CTO Wu Tran has created and launched a new social network called Butterflies, where people can interact with artificial intelligence. According to The Verge, the app itself resembles Instagram but has the main distinction of creating AI characters. During registration, users create their virtual characters, which can generate photos and communicate with other users of the network. There are no limits on the number of characters that can be created.
The developer believes that interactions between people and AI on Butterflies will improve over Time, and conversations with virtual characters will become more natural, easy, and fun. He comments that all of this does not distract him from real-life relationships.
Currently, the publication of nude photos is prohibited, but in the future, the developer plans to launch licensed virtual characters, such as Harry Potter. Earlier, Instagram also introduced a new feature allowing users to conduct online broadcasts for the “close friends” list.
It should be noted that McDonald's has decided to halt the testing of artificial intelligence in its restaurants in the United States. Additionally, it is worth mentioning that Ukraine ranks second in the number of companies specializing in artificial intelligence among Central and Eastern European countries.
