Zelensky in Sumy: 'We know what the enemy is counting on, but we will defend Ukraine'.

The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky visited the Chernihiv and Sumy regions, where he announced additional funding for border communities and thanked the Ukrainian military for their operations in the Kursk region of the Russian Federation.

The head of state visited the village of Yahidne in Chernihiv region, where the anniversary of liberation from Russian occupation was celebrated. Zelensky noted that many facilities in the village have been restored, new houses are being built, and a memorial is being created to commemorate the holding of the villagers in the basement of the school during the war.

Zelensky also met with military personnel carrying out tasks in the Kursk direction in the Sumy region. He personally thanked the soldiers of the Air Assault Forces and the Marine Corps for their work.
