Winter support package for Ukrainians: what it includes and who will receive it.

The government informed Ukrainians about the winter support package, which will be available not only in winter, but also throughout 2025. The funds for this are provided in the state budget. Support programs will continue to operate even after the heating season is over.

"The announced support programs will continue to operate even after the end of winter and the heating season. The relevant funding is provided in the state budget for 2024 and 2025", - said in the Cabinet of Ministers.

Within the winter support package, additional assistance will be provided to vulnerable populations, families with children, and anyone in need of help. President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that every Ukrainian will receive a thousand hryvnias.

• Pay for utilities.
• Buy goods and services from Ukrainian producers.
• Purchase medicines from Ukrainian manufacturers.
• Buy books.
• Allocate funds as donations to support the military.

The government explained the need for the introduction of winter support due to the rise in consumer prices, in particular utility tariffs and food prices. According to the National Bank forecast, by the end of the year, the growth rate of consumer prices will be 9.7%, and then slow down in 2025.

"In the conditions of a difficult winter and increasing inflation, the government of Ukraine, at the initiative of the president, is introducing a number of programs and measures to further support Ukrainians", - added in the Cabinet of Ministers.
