Media revealed the scheme of supplying German industrial equipment to Russia.

In recent years, Russia has received more than 300 shipments of equipment from German manufacturers, indicating a significant volume of trade despite the restrictions. This is reported by an investigation by the German television company "SWR".
Most of the shipments consisted of large industrial machines or machines with numerical control (CNC). This equipment can perform complex operations such as cutting steel, bending sheet metal, and welding metal parts in automatic mode.
Advisor to the Economic Security Council of Ukraine Olena Yurchenko noted that 80% of such equipment is used in Russian military production. This can significantly impact the Russian military industry.
The investigation identified more than 30 German companies whose equipment was imported into Russia. Among them are Walter Maschinenbau, Vollmer, Fein GmbH, Heller and others. Many of these companies are located in the Baden-Württemberg region, known for its engineering traditions.
About two-thirds of the machines entered Russia through Turkey. Some Turkish intermediaries have direct ties to Russia, while others were established by Russian entrepreneurs, indicating a complex network of sanction evasion.
It was found that Russian companies such as "Parsek", "Kamaz", NDR, and "Industrial Solutions" use German equipment. These companies are known for supplying parts for military equipment. German companies, according to journalists, deny their involvement in violating sanctions, believing that these shipments occurred without their knowledge.
Experts believe that to prevent illegal exports, it is necessary to strengthen sanctions and tighten control over their enforcement. They also point out that companies can learn about the end recipients of their products if they make an effort. According to journalists, similar shipments may continue, but this requires additional confirmation.
Let us recall that earlier the involvement of German companies Knauf and WKB Systems in the construction of facilities in the occupied Mariupol was revealed.
