According to the portal 'Glavcom', Ukrainian defenders successfully killed Russian officer Valentin Metlyakov. This man was born in 1977 in Russia, served in the military in Dagestan, and was a retired major at the Sakhalin customs.
In April 2022, Metlyakov participated in an action supporting the war against Ukraine and later joined the conflict in the east of the country. In June 2025, he was eliminated by Ukrainian defenders.
'In the summer of 2022, tragic news came about the death of twenty members of the Sakhalin OMON on the front. Among them were guys I once served with. This deeply shattered my soul,' Metlyakov admitted.
The Russian speed skater supported aggression
Ksenia Korzhova, known as a neutral athlete according to the International Skating Union, turned out to be a supporter of Russian aggression. She liked posts supporting the war, including messages from defenders of dictator Vladimir Putin and gymnast Nikita Nagorny.
Although Nagorny himself has already become the subject of sanctions from several countries for his support of Russian aggression against Ukraine, Korzhova continues to express her support by liking posts related to Putin, Russian soldiers, and the 'Yunarmiya' organization.
Ukrainian defenders conducted an operation to eliminate the Russian officer who participated in the war in eastern Ukraine. The athlete from Russia also supported her country’s aggression against Ukraine by liking social media posts containing relevant messages.
