AFU halted the counteroffensive of Russian troops in the Kursk region, - Ministry of Defense.

The Russian counteroffensive in the Kursk region, aimed at recapturing territories held by Ukrainian forces, has been halted. This was reported by a representative of the Ukrainian military administration, Oleksiy Dmytrashkivskyi. He claims that the Russian military is not achieving success and the situation is under the control of Ukrainian forces.
According to him, there are "several thousand" Russian civilians remaining in the occupied territories. He also noted that Russian strikes have led to the deaths of 23 civilians. Civilians are not allowed to leave, but they can move around the territory. The only way to leave to the territory controlled by Russia is to negotiate through international organizations and to open a green corridor under the supervision of observers.
