The Ministry of Defense plans to expand the functionality of the "Reserve+" application and turn it into an online Military Registration and Enlistment Office
The Deputy Minister of Defense for Digitalization, Kateryna Chernogorenko, said that the Ministry of Defense plans to significantly expand the capabilities of the "Reserve+" application and turn it into an online Military Registration and Enlistment Office. She shared this information in her interview with Forbes Ukraine.
In particular, "Reserve+" plans to add several new services. Among them:
- The ability to apply for three types of deferrals online: for parents of large families, people with disabilities, and full-Time students.
- Online recruitment function with the ability to sign a contract or mobilize "in two clicks".
- Including a photo in the electronic military registration document.
- Online referral to the military medical commission (MMC), the launch of this function is planned for autumn 2024.
Chernogorenko noted that there are still several services of the Military Registration and Enlistment Office that they also plan to transfer to the "Reserve+" application, but did not specify which ones.
"We have a big plan on how to turn "Reserve+" into an online Military Registration and Enlistment Office," emphasized the Deputy Minister.
Currently, "Reserve+" is used by 3.2 million Ukrainians, and the daily active users of the application amount to about 100,000 people.
