Narva Museum Installed a Poster Featuring Putin and Hitler

The museum of the Estonian city of Narva placed a symbolic poster at the border with Russia, dedicated to May 9. It features Russian President Vladimir Putin and the leader of the Third Reich, Adolf Hitler, ERR reports.

The poster reads 'Putler – war criminal.'

The poster is hung on the wall of Narva Castle facing Russia. Museum director Maria Smorzhhevskikh-Smirnova explained: 'This is our message, a reminder of the current full-scale war and war crimes. Today, on Europe Day, we celebrate peace and freedom. At the same Time, we are in the fourth year of a full-scale war unleashed by Putin. We call the dictator a dictator, and war crimes war crimes.'

The Presidents of Azerbaijan and Laos refused to participate in the parade in Moscow.

For the May 9 celebrations, the Russian Federation will spend at least 1.5 billion rubles ($18.6 million). Nearly three hundred air defense systems have been deployed for this event, and restrictions on mobile internet have been imposed.

In light of recent events, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry expressed distrust regarding the participation of foreign military personnel in the parade, which is considered unacceptable and a blatant disrespect for the memory of victory over Nazism. President Zelensky's timely remarks emphasized the importance of memory and the commemoration of significant historical events without the presence of officials who have health issues.
