The governor of Sevastopol, Razvozhayev, stated that work on air defense is being carried out in the city area.
Residents reported smoke over Sevastopol.
Later, Razvozhayev confirmed that several aerial targets were shot down. He wrote: “According to the Sevastopol Rescue Service, a part of the downed missile fell at a pedestrian crossing on Khrustalyova Street. Debris also fell in the area of Ostryakov Street, with preliminary information indicating that parts of the downed UAV are burning.”
Recall that on July 26, a strike was carried out on the “Saky” airfield in temporarily occupied Crimea. This airfield is an important object used by the Russian Federation to control airspace and carry out attacks on Ukraine, according to the military.
